METAL MAGIC

We’ve been a massive fan of this brand and proud friends of the local family behind it ever since the day their mastermind Dave rolled into the yard on a mint custom-painted Harley, whipped some stunning handmade metal sculptures out of his saddlebag and modestly asked if they might be of interest. The answer was somewhere along the lines of “Hell yeah, they’re class” and the rest is history.

Dave’s work really does have to be seen to be believed as the details that come to light when you look closely are what sets them apart. Where I see an old fork, a scrap piston or a seized bearing bound for the metal skip, Dave sees a radiator grill for a hotrod, a rib cage or a skull.

Call into the shop for a look at Dave’s work but heads up, it’s not all for sale as many items quickly ends up a beloved part of our own decor rather than making it onto the shelves (we do pay for them though, honestly! Have you ever seen Dave!?)
