Ben Tolliday / Team Tolly Racing

Scarborough’s British Supersport Cup talent Ben Tolliday will be here with this Triumph 765 for a meet & greet, telling us his plans and goals for the upcoming season after coming so close to a championship win last year. We also hope he’ll be firing up his bike in the yard so Carnaby can once again rejoice in the sweet sound of race bikes, almost 30 years after the raceway last hosted an event.

Guy Redshaw’s Cannondale Dirt Bike Evening

November 2025

Local blogger, biker, cyclist, beach racer, kite fanatic & all round top bloke Guy Redshaw visited the shop to give a fascinating, light-hearted & hugely informative talk about Cannondale’s MX project and his love for the bikes it produced.

Guy’s fantastic event involved a bike start-up, some very generous prize giveaways, opportunities to chat, ask questions & sit on a bike for a photo and ultimately raised £216 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Big thanks to everyone who attended and of course to Guy himself for all his hard-work in delivering such a great night and for the amazing Mick Grant replica helmet he gave us to proudly display in our Carnaby Raceway history area!

Graham Sykes & Force of Nature

October 2025

We’re still buzzing from a great night on 25th October when Graham Sykes and the Force of Nature Steam Rocket Bike team brought their record-breaking, engineering wonder to Hall Bros Motorcycles for a fascinating presentation and Q&A.

There was even an unexpected photo opportunity with Graham generously allowing the audience to sit on the world’s fastest accelerating bike - not something everyone gets to say they’ve done!

Huge thanks to everyone who came and supported the event and of course to Graham, Diane and Billy for giving up their time to make it such a memorable evening for all of us.

We sold 35 tickets at £10 each, so once the VAT man’s paid that’s a lovely £292 raised for the Melbourne Raceway Track Fund thanks to our fantastic biker community.

As he told us on the night, Graham and the team are now working on upgrades to the bike that will hopefully see it smash more records in 2026. You can follow the project here:
