Our RDM-ZII was the second bike in Dave Marsden’s (aka Z-Power Dave) RDM series of Z1-based resto-mods.

The bike featured in Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Issue No. 454 (August 2025) where Dave gave a fascinating account of the build and the thought process behind it.

It’s another bike that we’d put forward for the ‘Sacrilege/Genius’ debate and yes we’re biased but we’d fall squarely on the genius side!

We’ve seen two of its sibling bikes - RDM-ZI at Steel City Classics in Chesterfield and RDM-ZV at the Stafford Autumn Classic Bike Show - and we can confirm that good looks definitely run in the family.
